Technical Support Specialist for Restaurant Operations

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to restaurant operations.

This role is critical for ensuring seamless IT system functioning across multiple venues, especially during trading hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time technical assistance to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Maintain and update Point of Sale (POS) menus, item settings, modifiers, reservation systems, and online platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS errors, printer malfunctions, delivery platform connectivity, and online reservation systems
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and platform support teams
  • Document support cases and maintain an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
  • Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
  • Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and be able to manage multiple tasks independently.

The successful candidate will also have experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems, and proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer.

They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly.

A minimum of basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs) is required for this position.
