Data Analyst Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product teams, data engineering, and data science teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage diagrams, and other documentation related to data governance.
  • Monitor data quality and identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated data quality checks and data validation routines.
  • Create and maintain basic data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data platforms, data models, and data structures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data mining concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
