Job Title: Business Analyst & Insights

Job Summary:

Business Analyst and Insights will support strategic initiatives for SM Markets by turning data into actionable insights to drive growth, operational efficiency, and improved shopper experience. The role will be instrumental in supporting data-driven decisions across merchandising, pricing, promotions, customer segmentation, and market expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales, customer behavior, and operational performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and models to support merchandising, pricing, and store operations teams.
  • Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives including new store openings, category growth plans, and market expansion.
  • Provide inputs for customer segmentation efforts and promotional effectiveness studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Assist in setting performance KPIs and tracking outcomes for business projects and initiatives.
  • Summarize key insights and present findings to leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or any related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in retail analytics, business intelligence, or consulting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint1 and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willing to work onsite at MOA Complex, Pasay City
