Job Summary

As a Risk Officer, you will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze internal data, external trends, and business processes to stay ahead of emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Risk Evaluation and Prioritization
  • Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks using advanced analytical tools.
  • Prioritize risks based on their potential impact and likelihood of occurrence.
  • Develop and implement key risk indicators and control effectiveness ratings to monitor progress.
Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and monitor risk exposures and mitigation plans in real-time.
  • Prepare regular risk dashboards and reports for senior management and governance committees.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical or deteriorating risks.
Support in Risk Mitigation Strategies
  • Work closely with control owners and business units to develop action plans for key risks.
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of mitigation controls.
Regulatory and Policy Compliance
  • Support compliance monitoring activities to ensure risk alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Help ensure business activities are in line with internal risk policies and frameworks.
Data Analysis
  • Assess risk scenarios and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Analyze historical data to uncover trends or indicators of potential risk.
Collaboration and Training
  • Collaborate with business units to foster risk awareness and promote a culture of safety.
  • Assist in risk training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
