Compensation and Benefits Administrator

The primary function of this role is to provide operational support in compensation and benefits administration, focusing on accurate implementation, processing, and reporting.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and analyzes staff cost budgets, forecasts, and variance reports, providing insights from data.
  • Implements hiring rates, wage orders, 13th month pay, and salary changes (merit increases, upgrades, promotions, regional transfers).
  • Processes company-initiated benefits such as medical subsidy, SL conversion, annual bonus, incentives, loyalty awards, transportation allowance, insurance, HMO, retirement, and uniform issuance.
  • Handles statutory benefit claims and loans (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) and coordinates with external providers (e.g., SLA, SM E-Card, SM Advantage).
  • Participates in the review and study of total rewards programs.
  • Recommends improvements in processes, systems, and controls.
  • Coordinates with payroll and benefits-related directives and issues.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Accountancy, Financial Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits policies, statutory requirements, and wage analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
