Financial Leadership Role

About the Position:

  • This role plays a pivotal part in overseeing our financial functions, ensuring accurate reporting and driving strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of precise financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and relevant regulations.
  • Provide detailed financial insights to support informed decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Cash Flow Management:
  • Maintain optimal cash flow levels by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury operations.
  • Forecast cash flow needs to support business operations and growth initiatives.
Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to complete audits efficiently.
Process Optimization:
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Leverage technology and software tools to enhance financial processes and reporting.
Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive financial management experience, ideally in a software or tech company.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial planning tools.
  • Experience working with cross-border financial operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
