Product Mapping and Categorization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Product Mapping and Categorization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are accurately mapped to eBay's catalog and categorized correctly to improve visibility, search relevance, and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map products to eBay's catalog using product identifiers (UPC, EAN, MPN, or SKU) with attention to detail.
  • Categorize products within eBay's category structure to maximize search visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Optimize product data to meet eBay's listing requirements and improve listing quality, resulting in increased conversion rates and revenue.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing listings to ensure correct mapping and categorization, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to maintain accurate product information and drive business growth.
  • Identify and resolve mismatches or errors in product mapping or categorization, minimizing the impact on sales performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with eBay's category and catalog updates to ensure compliance and optimize product listings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with eBay Seller Hub or equivalent listing tools, such as Linnworks or ChannelAdvisor.
  • Strong understanding of eBay's category structure and product listing guidelines, with the ability to analyze and apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to product mapping and categorization.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and product optimization techniques, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
