About the Role

The Product Development Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by optimizing supply chain management, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical skills to manage demand and supply, utilizing master planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain parameters, including lead times and safety stocks, to ensure alignment with product life cycles.
  • Support Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) processes, reviewing resource loading situations that impact S&OP.
  • Manage customer sales orders, programs forecast, and safety stock replenishment through effective SO Management.
  • Plan and release feasible plans to manufacturing sites, monitoring and controlling supply deviation.
  • Communicate with business units to align business strategies based on demand and supply situations.
  • Exception Management:
    • In cases of allocation, follow established procedures and decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize production and prevent customer line downtime due to tight supply.
    • Support New Product Introduction and Returns Management according to relevant procedures.
  • Improvements / PDCA:
    • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiate improvement activities when targets are not met.
    • Participate in projects to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills with process-driven knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in customer handling and managing, leading, and participating in projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in multicultural communication.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Fluency in English.
