Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the full lifecycle of SAP licenses from procurement to renewal and retirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of software licenses and usage, monitoring SAP user accounts and authorizations to ensure compliance, and managing the SAP on-prem and RISE subscription product inventory and entitlements.

Responsibilities
  • License Management: Ensure timely and efficient management of SAP licenses, including procurement, renewal, and retirement. Maintain accurate records of software licenses and usage, and monitor SAP user accounts and authorizations to ensure compliance.
  • Compliance & Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce licensing costs through consolidation or renegotiation, and develop fluency in vendor contracts and clauses. Translate SKU to deployed functionality in ECC/S4 instances.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze software usage data to detect over-licensing or under-utilization, and prepare reports on licensing status, compliance, and cost savings for management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in SAP license management or software asset management. Strong understanding of SAP licensing models (user-based, processor-based, engine-based), SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP), and knowledge of SAP GRC and basic ABAP is required. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, critical thinking, due diligence, and business acumen are essential.
