Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to process, analyze, and visualize complex data sets, providing actionable insights that drive business growth. They will also be responsible for leading a team of analysts, designing analytics solutions, managing stakeholders, and delegating tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client data by exploring its features, researching industry trends, and compiling knowledge into well-documented reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and develop end-to-end data solutions, ensuring seamless integration across large-scale data systems.
  • Prepare data for analysis by developing sustainable data models, performing data quality assessments, and designing data transformations using SQL, Python, and spreadsheet tools.
  • Develop scalable and production-quality data transformation pipelines to ensure maintainability of analytics systems.
  • Explore data to find patterns and discover insights that enable clients to make informed decisions.
  • Design and develop charts and interactive dashboards that make information accessible to clients.
  • Communicate development processes and highlight insights through written reports, presentations, and other documentation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong background in data visualization and design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to break down complex insights and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and lead client/stakeholder meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Dataform).
  • Experience working with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
