Job Title: Business Insights and Analytics Expert

The role of the Business Insights and Analytics Expert is to drive business intelligence and performance management processes, delivering quantitative and qualitative analysis and insights that enable and support strategic and business objectives.

  • This includes shaping the strategic direction of business planning and expenditure forecasting processes, providing visionary insights and strategic advice on business trends, revenue factors, and cost drivers.
  • Mobilizing teams to deeply understand and navigate the financial implications of the business operating model, driving organizational alignment.
  • Defining and driving the framework for organizational goals and objectives, leading comprehensive strategy, planning, design, and implementation initiatives.
  • Pioneering innovations in target setting, planning, and budgeting to significantly enhance financial resiliency, spearheading investments in productivity improvements.
  • Strategically evaluating opportunities and constraints, synthesizing information across financial planning areas, and guiding the team to navigate economic, political, and regulatory impacts.
  • Developing and overseeing robust finance contingency plans based on comprehensive financial and business risk assessments, prioritizing strategic recommendations to optimize the overall business landscape.
  • Reviewing and evaluating business unit strategic plans against overall goals of the organization.
  • Driving standards for budgets and forecasts and establishing parameters for performance reporting.
  • Streamlining business reviews to focus management on critical risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring alignment of capital and operational expenditures with corporate objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, or related field.
  • Strategic business planning and budgeting expertise.
  • Excellent data storytelling and insighting abilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to develop and present compelling arguments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
  • Soft skills include analytical skills, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
  • Hard skills include finance and financial planning, business analytics, and budgeting.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field.
