Technical Support Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Lead to oversee and grow our global Technical Support team. This role involves managing technical excellence, quality of service, and the growth and effectiveness of your team.

The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in Linux and open source databases, as well as experience managing or leading remote teams.

This position requires someone with excellent leadership skills, who can guide, coach, and support engineers in solving complex technical problems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operational efficiency, ensuring engineers have the tools, processes, and culture needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of Technical Support Engineers across time zones
  • Mentor and coach engineers through technical challenges
  • Manage scheduling, coverage, escalations, and rotation planning
  • Promote accountability, learning, and consistency within your team
Requirements
  • Comfort working across time zones and cultures
  • Prior experience as a Technical Support Engineer or DBA
  • Experience managing or leading remote or globally distributed teams
  • Strong technical depth in Linux and open source databases
