Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a vital role in developing and executing comprehensive email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Creation: Design and execute strategic email marketing campaigns across various customer segments, focusing on acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize email databases, including list building, segmentation, and personalization to maximize deliverability and engagement rates
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling email content, including subject lines, copy, and HTML templates that align with brand guidelines and drive conversions
  • Deliverability and Compliance: Monitor email deliverability, manage sender reputation, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Optimizations:
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and design elements to continuously improve campaign performance
  • Automated Sequences: Build and optimize automated email sequences, including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns
Quality Assurance/Testing:
  • Template Error-Free Checking: Ensure all email and SMS campaigns and templates are error-free
  • Device Compatibility: Test email templates in Litmus to ensure they render correctly across devices
  • Link Validation: Ensure all email and SMS flow/campaign messages have valid links, images, and fallback alt text
  • Flow Setup Verification: Verify that filters are set up correctly and profiles enter at the right time
  • Dynamic Content Setup: Verify dynamic content blocks are set up
General Klaviyo Management:
  • Template Development: Create and build email templates using Klaviyo's drag-and-drop builder
  • Form Assistance: Assist with creating sign-up forms (flyouts, pop-ups, embed forms)
  • Integration Support: Review and set up client tech stack integrations in Klaviyo, including Okendo, Yotpo, Elevar, Instant, Customer.AI
  • Segmentation Setup: Provide support for segmentation setup based on purchasing behavior and email/SMS engagement
Reporting:
  • Analytics Reporting: Provide detailed analytics and performance reporting on email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI metrics
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing
  • Skills: Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization and troubleshooting
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in email marketing metrics and performance optimization
  • Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance regulations
  • Marketing Automation: Experience with marketing automation and customer segmentation strategies
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft engaging email content
  • CRM Familiarity: Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data management
  • Independence: Ability to work independently while managing multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Attention to Detail: Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency
