This role is for a remote, full-time mortgage support specialist. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic support to debt advisory strategists, enabling efficient delivery of advisory work.

We are looking for candidates with mortgage industry knowledge and credit assessment proficiency, particularly in the Australian market.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, including financial analysis and credit scoring. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Evidence and Data: Gather and analyze data to enable efficient delivery of advisory work.
  • Set Up Workflows: Establish Quickli workflows, prepare broker handovers, and analyze financial statements & tax returns.
  • Research Market Trends: Research market trends and regulatory changes; compile weekly intelligence and reports; coordinate valuations with lenders.
  • Manage Timelines: Manage timelines, follow-up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
  • Support Cross-Team Collaboration: Support cross-team collaboration and maintain a reference database for future use; ensure professional client communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mortgage Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage rates, products, and lending criteria for the Australian market.
  • Credit Assessment Proficiency: Excellent credit assessment skills, including reports, scoring, and serviceability calculations.
  • Financial Analysis Skills: Strong financial analysis skills, including statements, tax returns, and complex income structures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of NCCP, responsible lending, and related standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Quickli platform, Broker Engine, advanced Excel/Sheets, and strong research methodology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent professional written communication, cross-team collaboration, and presentation capabilities.
