■ Proof-to-edit documents against specific amends, direction and QA checklist
■ Capture all glaring errors in the documents, from layout and formatting, to hyperlinks, file naming conventions and others
■ Collaborate with graphic designers and provide guidance to maintain quality of output
■ Work according to established production flow and process tools
■ Take on diverse types of document projects for QA
■ Manage time and workload to accommodate volume of QA work for quick turnaround
■ Work very well with QA team and take on extra work when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
■ Degree/diploma in Communication Arts / Journalism / Multimedia Arts or any relevant discipline
■ 5-7 years of experience as a regular or freelance proofreader / editor / quality analyst in a Publishing / Print Media company / similar
■ Strong command of the English language
■ Excellent editorial / proofreading / proof-to-edit skills for multi-page print materials
■ Knowledge of design and layout principles
■ Superb attention to detail
■ Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
■ Ability to work with Adobe InDesign is a plus
■ Background in pre-press production is a plus
■ Demonstrate sound and appropriate editorial judgement
■ Stickler for day-to-day deadlines
■ Very flexible in doing quality check on diverse editorial projects
■ Experience working in a corporate environment is a plus
■ Comfortable to work on North America hours
