• Support the Sous Chef in leading and mentoring kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Implement and monitor HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures to ensure food safety.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock rotation.
• Help track and analyze food costs, making recommendations to maintain budgetary targets.
• Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and appearance.
• Conduct regular quality checks and taste tests to maintain consistency across all menu items.
• Address and resolve any customer complaints related to food quality or presentation.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary team, providing clear instructions, feedback, and support.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
