Position Overview:

  • The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion and securing profitable agreements. They work closely with current and potential clients to close and upscale agreements, and with the marketing team to strategize effective ways to expand the company's reach, engagement, and conversion to sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations and Acquisition
  • Actively source for potential clients and projects in different platforms while also seeking for opportunities to retain and upscale projects and agreements with current clients.
  • Consistently coordinate and check-in with potential clients and partners to provide them a smooth and positive client-relations experience, from the first touchpoint to client onboarding.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Develop and retain positive relationships with potential, current, and past clients and partners when applicable.

Internal Coordination and Management

  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team in strategizing and researching for best practices and effective ways to promote the company's brand and services in different platforms with the objective of increasing engagements and inquiries that can potentially lead to sales conversions.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Managers regarding the newly acquired clients to ensure smooth and proper client onboarding.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team regarding company prices and budget to present to clients and partners and discuss pricing strategies.
  • Create and present reports on the company's sales performance, direction, and predict possible outcomes.
  • Achieve set targets and sales revenue.
  • HMO upon regularization.
  • Free office parking.
  • Company driver and car (depending on availability).
  • It can be hard to determine the KPIs for a Business Development Specialist because it will really depend on the client that they will acquire.
  • For instance, they can acquire 1 huge client and no clients the following week, which will be okay.
  • They can also acquire a medium-sized client once in a while consistently.
  • But it's very important that they are punctual and conscientious with deliverables, good communicators (both in the English and Filipino language), very presentable, good in public speaking, and responsive to clients.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any relevant course from an accredited university.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good communicator in the English and Filipino language.
  • Amenable to report to office Monday-Friday.
