AP Invoice Processing Supervisor

Accountabilities:

  1. Manage, direct, and coordinate one or more segments of the organization's daily operations in a non-manufacturing environment/industry.
  2. Develop, implement, and enhance operating policies, processes, and procedures that influence the organization's short- and long-term goals and strategies.
  3. Plan and coordinate operations and special projects across multiple areas (e.g., short- to long-term planning, joint ventures, business development, internal communications, budgeting).
  4. Handle diverse responsibilities that vary with the organization's changing needs; this role is not confined to a single function (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Human Resources).
  5. Supervise daily activities of a large or moderately complex business or technical support, production, or operations team, and be accountable for team results.
  6. Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
  7. Apply expertise and analyze information to solve problems.
  8. Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and the local business plan; receive guidance and oversight from the manager.
  9. Coach team members on performance, conduct employee evaluations, and recommend pay actions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of AP/invoice processing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  3. Proven ability to lead daily operations, set team priorities, and drive performance.
  4. Skilled in policy and process improvement aligned with business goals.
  5. Experience in project coordination, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within established guidelines.
