The Site Accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions and site-level accounting operations. This role ensures accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of project financials directly from the site, supporting head office accounting teams and site management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:


• Monitor and record all site-related financial transactions including material purchases, subcontractor payments, fuel consumption, and petty cash expenses.


• Prepare and submit daily and weekly financial reports.


• Ensure proper documentation of all disbursements, collections, and site-related expenditures.


• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other accounting documents.


• Assist in payroll preparation and attendance monitoring for site personnel (if required).


• Conduct monthly reconciliation of site expenses against project budgets.


• Handle petty cash fund and ensure compliance with internal control guidelines.


• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors regarding payments and billing concerns.


• Support the project manager and site management in budget tracking and cost control initiatives.


• Comply with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant tax regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits when required.

Qualifications:


• Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or equivalent.


• Preferably with 1-2 years experience in accounting, preferably in construction or project-based operations.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).


• Knowledgeable in basic tax regulations and standard accounting procedures.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.


• Ability to work independently at site with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:


• Willing to be assigned full-time at project site in Tarlac City.


• Physically fit and able to adapt to site work conditions.
