I. Job Summary

The Business Development Head creates business development strategies to support the success and growth of the company to achieve its organizational goals while increasing revenue. He/She helps facilitate growth opportunities for the company and drives innovation ensuring that product offerings remain competitive, relevant, and appealing to the target market.

II. Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify relevant products for new markets and customer needs
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure that corporate goals are being met
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Formulate sales objectives, strategies, action plans and budgets
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions

III. Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a 4-year course preferably Business Administration, Marketing or related field

Experience:

  • At least 8 years related work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or relevant role

Skills:

  • Proven track record in Sales and Business Development
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and collaborative skills
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships
  • Good understanding of management practices and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
