Sales Lead

The IT Sales Lead will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Aether Global IT sales team, driving revenue growth within the IT sector, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in IT sales leadership, a strong understanding of IT sales metrics and KPIs, and the ability to coach and motivate a team. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a robust professional network within the IT industry, and a passion for exceeding expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor the Aether Global IT sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- IT Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of IT-focused sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maintain recurring revenue streams. This includes identifying key market segments, developing targeted sales campaigns, and staying abreast of industry trends.
- IT Sales Metrics and KPIs: Collaborate in the development and tracking of key IT sales metrics and performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team progress and identify areas for improvement. Examples include lead conversion rates, average deal size, and customer acquisition cost.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to IT sales team members to enhance their IT sales skills and drive performance. Continuously motivate the team to achieve and surpass sales goals.
- IT Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute plans to consistently achieve and exceed IT sales targets. Demonstrate a proven track record of hitting sales targets within the IT industry.
- IT Lead Generation: Leverage your existing network within the IT sector and develop new strategies to generate high-quality IT leads. This might include attending industry events, networking with IT professionals, and utilizing online lead generation tools.
- CRM Management (Plus): Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Creatio) is a significant advantage. This includes using the CRM to manage IT leads, track opportunities, and generate reports.
- Technical Proficiency (Desired): A strong understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and trends is highly desired.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on IT sales performance, team activities, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in IT sales, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- At least 2 years of experience leading and managing an IT sales team.
- Strong understanding of IT sales methodologies, CRM systems (experience with Salesforce or Hubspot is a plus), and sales metrics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with IT clients and partners.
- Established network of contacts within the IT industry that can contribute to lead generation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
