Overview

The Corporate Finance General Accounting GES Lead Accountant will be working closely with the Accounting Manager, and will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Team to meet set goals and objectives. The incumbent will provide strong assistance in optimizing internal controls of the Company, maintaining the accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial reports and managing monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Provide direction and training to lower level Accountants.
  • Assist in optimizing internal controls and maintaining accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial reports.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent in education and experience. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience as a Senior Accountant with proficiency leading the day-to-day accounting activities; 3+ to 5 years experience in a senior or supervisory role is noted in the original description.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
