Responsibilities
  1. Lead the company's Continuous Improvement Program such as Kaizen, VSM, DMAIC and other First Choice tools.
  2. Implement the First-Choice tools and engage in continuous improvement activities and problem solving affecting the required area within target completion times.
  3. Handle in-house training on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to guide employees in resolving difficulties in operations and processes.
  4. Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
  5. Identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking.
  6. Provide assistance in the development and implementation of a "best in class" continuous improvement strategy.
  7. Act as one of the drivers in the implementation of the company's operating system such as BASICS and Operations Management System (OMS).
  8. Responsible for the implementation of WH slotting which enables improvement in productivity, travel time and distance, cost savings, etc.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 1 year working experience in the logistics/supply chain industry with a background in Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
  2. College Degree holder, preferably in Industrial Engineering or any related course.
  3. Knowledge of regulatory/legal compliance is an advantage.
  4. Established capability in doing root cause analysis/problem solving.
  5. Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 is an advantage.
  6. Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
  8. Practices facilitation skills in conducting regular training.
  9. Efficient at grasping details of new technology and imbibing them in work promptly.
  10. Possesses good interpersonal skills.
  11. Good analytical skills and good presentation skills.
  12. Can work with minimal supervision.
