DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead SPARK/ Continuous Improvement Projects:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify process inefficiencies and design improvement strategies.
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to analyze, define, and execute process changes.

Process Optimization:

  • Conduct process mapping and gap analysis to identify areas of inefficiency and develop solutions.
  • Standardize best practices and ensure that improvements are sustainable across the organization.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor improvements and make necessary adjustments.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to employees and teams on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Mentor members on Lean and Six Sigma concepts and assist in the development of their skills in process improvement.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the company.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with various stakeholders to understand business needs and align continuous improvement efforts with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on progress, metrics, and results of improvement projects to senior management.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use data analysis tools to assess and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts.
  • Drive the use of key metrics and Value Stream Mapping to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for potential cost savings.

Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and create a positive, proactive mindset toward change management within the organization.
  • Identify and remove barriers to improvement, ensuring that employees are engaged and motivated to adopt change.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, engineering, etc.) to implement improvement solutions.
  • Assist in solving complex business problems by applying structured problem-solving techniques.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence roles.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt preferred), Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis techniques.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement software tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
