Job Description:

  1. Responsible to manage sales of the company's automotive lubricant and ancillary products or services to meet business objectives.
  2. Manage interfaces between the customer, operations, customer service, supply, marketing, and engineering personnel. To be able to oversee, manage and coach the sales team under the Automotive Lubricants Business unit. He/she must ensure effective and efficient channel management (B2B, B2C and B2B2C).
  3. To have efficient and effective management of the Automotive Sales Team to collectively accomplish the objectives and goals established for the Business Unit.
  4. To establish and recommend the most realistic sales goals for the target sectors and product lines to maximize revenue and meet business objectives.
  5. Interpret short- and long-term effects of sales strategies in operating profit and recommendations to Marketing team in the development of Marketing programs to support and attain AL Sales objectives.
  6. Optimize sales areas to ensure optimum AL sales coverage, effective marketing program implementation in the targeted sectors, and uncompromising customer care.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 4 years of related experience or training in automotive industry or automotive services/ sector, or the equivalent combination of formal education, sales management experience in the lubricant business, or another parallel market.
  2. Solid foundation in automotive, diesel technology, and machinery, with a focus on product applications, innovations, and industry best practices.
  3. Proven track record in building and nurturing business pipelines, driving lead generation, and ensuring sustained growth through strategic relationship management.
  4. Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis, ensuring sound business decisions.
  5. Skilled in evaluating the Total Cost of Ownership, providing clients with comprehensive cost assessments to support investment decisions.
  6. Skilled in navigating complex negotiations, balancing client needs with business objectives to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  7. Passion for developing talent and empowering others, with a strong ability to coach, mentor, and foster team growth through constructive feedback and guidance.
