We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Assistant Vice President Business Administration and Operational Management.

The purpose of the role is to provide strategic support to HIIB Wealth Governance to drive wealth products advise and control ensuring the effective deployment of requirements for wealth sales journeys when distributing wealth products.

In this role, you will:

  • Accountable for the continuous improvement of wealth management products and services.
  • Localisation of the agreed Wealth Sales models to ensure they also meet local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with Wealth Sales Journeys and Transaction Types procedure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive and navigate strategies to achieve business goals, while complying with internal processes and guidelines
  • Encourage and enable constructive cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Understands WPB wealth products and services
  • Knowledgeable of regulations applicable to investments and insurance products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and practices agile ways of working
  • Strong business acumen especially in Retail Banking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others
  • Strong communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and with passion in innovation to deliver incremental value to the business
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be at least a Bachelor's Degree holder
