He/She is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and efficient procurement of the hotel's requirements. This includes sourcing and acquiring materials, supplies, equipment, tools, chemicals, and other essential items while maintaining the highest standards of quality and quantity. The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, and compliance with procurement best practices to support the hotel's operational excellence.

  1. Receives and reviews all Purchase Requisition (PR) and ensures prompt actions are taken on all purchase requests.
  2. Provides feedback to the Purchasing Manager and requisitioning department on market conditions, product availability, price trends, and other relevant information related to requisitioned products.
  3. Obtains price quotations at all times.
  4. Maintains and controls purchasing documents such as catalogues, directions, magazines, prize bulletins, and others.
  5. Ensures that prices are competitive by obtaining three (3) or more bids from suppliers.
  6. Updates price quotations regularly.
  7. Monitors supplier reliability and dependability, and establishes contacts with prospective suppliers.
  8. Inspects and verifies received goods to ensure they conform to purchase specifications.
  9. Monitors staggered deliveries to ensure complete delivery of items.
  10. Prepares reports on undelivered items and submits them to the Purchasing Manager.
  11. Performs other duties as directed by management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's / College degree in Marketing or any Business Course
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a large hotel chain or equivalent
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Can start immediately
  • Amenable to work onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa
