Responsibilities
  • Reviews the approved quality control inspection plan (QCIP), policies and procedures.
  • Conducts preliminary inspection (material receiving, in-process and final inspection) with the field operation group prior to joint inspection with the client.
  • Ensures that all inspected materials and equipment are complied with the drawings, specifications, applicable requirements, codes and standards.
  • Conducts orientation / tool box meeting with the field operation group for each discipline for the quality control implementation.
  • Monitors daily inspection activities and associated documentation.
  • Ensures internal requests for inspection (RFI's) are attended properly and is responsible for preparing necessary inspection reports and other documents for the close out of RFIs.
  • Prepares quality control inspection report (QCIR's), non-conformance reports (NCR's) for noted quality violations / findings and verification of corrections / corrective actions taken prior to close out.
  • Completes and delivers, in a timely manner, all other tasks as may be required by superiors and EEI Management.
Qualifications

Educational Attainment: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Three (1) to (3) years of experience in Quality Control in a construction setting.

Skills: Computer literacy (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Communication Skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking); Knowledgeable with ASTM and ASME standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify nonconformities, perform root cause analysis, and recommend immediate corrections.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor, and control daily activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with other departments and clients with regard to the tasks given.
  • Demonstrated good problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Systematic and organized work approach.
