Duties and Resposibilities:

1. Inventory Management

Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation.

Monitor stock movement, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with company standards for stock handling, storage, and control.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

Supervise and guide the inventory control team in performing daily tasks efficiently.

Assign work schedules, monitor performance, and provide coaching or training as needed.

Foster teamwork, discipline, and accountability within the department.

3. Stock Monitoring and Reporting

Regularly check stock availability and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.

Prepare accurate inventory reports for management (e.g., stock aging, shortages, excesses).

Highlight risks such as overstocking, stockouts, or slow-moving items.

4. Process Improvement

Identify and implement best practices to streamline inventory processes.

Recommend improvements in warehouse layout, stock handling, and inventory systems.

Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations to streamline inbound/outbound flows.

5. Compliance and Control

Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and audit requirements.

Safeguard inventory against theft, damage, or misuse.

Coordinate with auditors for stock verification and compliance checks.

Maintain documentation for inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations.

Skills/Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Google Sheet)

Inventory management and stock control

ERP/WMS system proficiency (SAP, etc.)

Strong leadership and team supervision

Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Google sheet)

Problem-solving and process improvement

Cross-department coordination and communication

Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
