Position Overview
The Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) will partner with our Mid-Market Accounts stakeholders to translate challenges to technical solutions, delivering desired outcomes. You will use in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor to the customer. You will partner with authorized partner teams to provide technical assistance.
This role is based in the Philippines, where we operate on a hybrid work arrangement. You will report to the Technical Solutions Manager (AEC).
Responsibilities
- You will become an expert in spreading the value message and will assist customers in making the best decisions about the Autodesk solution to meet their needs.
- You will report to the TS Manager and the TS Teams, communicating and connecting customer business objectives with Autodesk technology offerings to deliver value messaging.
- You will facilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes with our customers to help uncover business issues, drivers, and initiatives, and use this information to connect Autodesk solutions to business outcomes.
- You will communicate product/workflow features and benefits. Present Autodesk products to prospective customers in the form of presentations. Presentations may be live or delivered via web-based mechanisms. Also provide customer consultation, support and product presentations at industry-specific trade shows.
- You will ensure that datasets and related scripts are prepared correctly according to local region requirements.
- You will work with our Autodesk Authorized Partners and provide customer-facing presentations in the form of dealer seminars and workshops. Ensure that our partners are proficient in Autodesk software tools and improve their presentation skills.
- You will support local user group meetings and become proactive in local, state, and national industry-related user groups. Interaction should include presentations, panel discussions, and product demonstrations. You will help educate the user groups to publicize the Autodesk message.
- You will work and collaborate with our teams to help further communicate requirements for the local region.
- You will collaborate with a broader team of TSE/SE/TSS members from across the APAC region.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in engineering from a reputable institution.
- 7-10 years of experience in the AEC Industry.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Solutions for design like Revit, Civil3D, and Autodesk construction cloud.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Architecture Engineering & Construction (AEC) product portfolio.
- Advanced knowledge of BIM and Industry workflows.
- Prior experience in customer-facing TS roles would be an added advantage.
