Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributors.
- Actively promote the sutures portfolio and other related products to potential clients.
- Distributor Collaboration:
- Work closely with distributors to ensure effective product distribution and increase market penetration.
- Support and guide distributors in sales activities, product knowledge, and marketing efforts.
- Monitor distributor performance and provide necessary training to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Product Promotion:
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare providers and institutions.
- Promote the unique value proposition of the principal products, highlighting their clinical and economic benefits.
- Manage and oversee product launches, ensuring successful uptake and sales growth.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet sales objectives.
- Customer Support & Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all customer inquiries and issues related to sutures and other products.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and support.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Proven 3-6 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device sector.
- Strong knowledge of sutures and surgical products is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributors and internal teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
