Operational Excellence Specialist (Fully remote)

EXUS is a global technology company specializing in debt collections software for financial services and utilities. Our enterprise SaaS platform is used in over 50 countries, delivering measurable improvements in collections, compliance, and operational efficiency. With 20+ years of experience and a product recognized by Gartner as best-in-class, we combine global insight with local adaptability to empower collections teams worldwide. We are expanding our Operational Excellence team as we scale the way EXUS works and we're looking for a talented Operational Excellence Specialist to help us elevate and evolve our operations. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity, building scalable processes, and driving structured improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Improve, Optimize and Standardize Processes
  • Identify, assess, optimize and document core business processes in collaboration with key stakeholders to increase efficiency, velocity, scalability, and quality across teams.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement through effective mechanisms such as training, coaching, and post-mortem facilitation, to promote ongoing learning and optimization.
  • Develop and Maintain Operational Frameworks
  • Design and implement simple, structured frameworks that enable teams to work consistently, efficiently, and with clarity.
  • Ensure frameworks remain relevant through regular review and iteration
  • Audit & Compliance Support
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring processes are properly documented, implemented, and monitored.
  • Support Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on companywide KPIs using dashboards and data insights to evaluate the impact of process improvements and support informed, data-driven decision-making.
  • Support Change and Project Management
  • Participate in change initiatives, including stakeholder coordination, project management, requirements analysis, design, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or Science or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles, preferably within the IT or software industry.
  • Hands-on experience with lean methodologies and tools (e.g. A3, Root Cause Analysis, Dynamic Work Design, Toyota Production System)
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills to gather input, troubleshoot issues, and align diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows and design efficient, scalable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
Nice to Have
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management practices and tools
