As a core member of our Product Support team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Your RoleAs a member of the Monitoring and Application Verification (MAV) team, the Junior Application Support Analyst will cover day to day monitoring of supported applications. This role will also ensure our applications are ready for business especially after maintenance work such as patching or software releases.
This is a demanding role within a fast-paced business unit requiring customer facing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. Experience in the financial industry, including understanding of investment portfolio accounting and investor relations processing is a plus.
About YouThe successful candidate will:
- Have strong oral and written communication skills, especially with other team members including managers, peers and business stakeholders
- Be an effective team contributor with a passion for growth, new technologies and automation
- Be committed to ongoing technical development and/or certification
- Demonstrate effective teamwork and working relationships with others
- Troubleshoot and isolate application issues effectively and efficiently
- Monitor alerts through different channels and take action based on documented procedures
- Identify urgency and proper prioritization of concurrent tasks or issues
- Have experience with System/Application Administration and Support including:
- Unix/Windows Servers navigation and scripting
- Windows Desktop/User session navigation
- Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL DB familiarity and query building
- AWS navigation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity or experience with development such as Java or Python is a plus
