Our client is a fast-growing, remote-first investment banking firm seeking a highly capable Associate to support deal execution across M&A and capital markets. This role offers hands-on experience with seasoned founders, leadership opportunities, and a collaborative culture that values work-life balance. Responsibilities- Market research including competitor analysis, industry research, and using raw datasets to create insights into niche subject areas.
- Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses, by taking raw financial data from clients and creating transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
- Develop client-facing materials for M&A and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
- Work closely with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
- Manage execution processes, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and high-quality deliverables.
- Actively contribute to recruiting and firm-building initiatives.
- Experience: 1–2 years in investment banking or comparable experience (top-tier consulting or sell-side equity research with relevant transaction exposure will be considered). Transaction advisory roles will be considered depending on exposure and role.
- Education: Strong academic credentials preferred, though not required.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
- Intellectual Curiosity: Ability to adapt, use new tools, and find creative solutions to aid efficiency.
- Professional Presence: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Self-Motivated: Highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence.
- Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client, communicating with the client, providing services, and addressing client-related matters independently.
- Payments: All payments for services will be handled by the client. Salary will be paid directly to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays: Scheduling is aligned with the client's business needs and policies.
