A Day in a Life

As a startup, your days will be varied, with multitasking being common. You may leverage your skills or talents to support other priorities. The main responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting line managers with employee concerns and challenges.
  2. Providing advisory services during reviews, development talks, and sensitive discussions.
  3. Overseeing HR processes related to onboarding, disciplinary actions, grievances, leave, exits, policies, career transitions, and performance management.
  4. Supporting engagement, recognition, D&I, and leadership initiatives, including surveys, town halls, focus groups, site visits, and recognition programs.
  5. Sharing insights from business operations and employee feedback with HR teams.
  6. Guiding managers in employee engagement and people programs, offering advisory support.
  7. Acting as a trusted advisor in talent discussions, reviews, and departures.
  8. Managing relationships with stakeholders and resolving escalated issues.
Requirements
Skills
  • Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
  • Strong HR management capabilities.
  • Experience owning recruitment efforts.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and adapt styles to project confidence and create a compelling vision.
  • Organized, methodical, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5-10 years of HR generalist experience or a related role with deep HR insights.
