PURPOSE (why does the position exist, WITH what objectives and WITHIN what limits):

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) aligns HR strategy with business goals to support organizational success. The HRBP is responsible for overseeing HR operations and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role entails managing strategic planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, change management, HR metrics and analytics, and compliance and policy development.

The HRBP works closely with department heads to align HR practices with business goals, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the company's overall growth and productivity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration/Management, or any related field.
  • Professional HR certifications are preferred.

Relevant Experience:

  • Preferably 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, HRIS and data analysis, training and development, and regulatory HR compliance.
  • Experience working in the ICT or technology sector is highly desirable.

Business Understanding:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • General knowledge, understanding, and experience in HR management or multiple facets of HR.
  • Understanding of ICT industry trends and the specific challenges related to talent management in the tech sector.
  • Willingness to stay updated on HR trends and attend industry workshops or conferences as needed.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Ramco), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is advantageous.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

HR Operations Management

  • Manage daily HR operations (from hiring, movement, transfer, and exit management), ensuring all activities are executed in line with company policies and proper coordination with the HR Shared Services Team.
  • Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee attendance records.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of all HR documents and information.
  • Supervise and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance HR department.
  • Lead by example, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely compensation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive compensation packages.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and guide managers on performance evaluations.
  • Align individual performance with company goals and objectives.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on effective feedback, goal setting, and employee development strategies.
  • Oversee performance improvement plans, monitor employee progress, and manage performance-related issues.

HR Information Systems (HRIS) Management

  • Maintain and update the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Leverage technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.

Training and Development

  • Assess/identify training needs, recommend professional development opportunities, and develop comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate training sessions for new hires and existing staff on company policies, technical skills, and other relevant areas.
  • Assist in the implementation of career path programs and succession planning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Strategic Planning

  • Work with the HR Head to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives and strategies that support/align with the company's or business goals.
  • Participate in organizational planning and change management initiatives and identify and implement HR innovations to support company growth.
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php 60,000.00 - Php 70,000.00 per month
