Job Summary:

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial governance, reporting, and accounting functions of the organization. This pivotal role involves managing a high-performing accounting team, implementing strong financial systems and controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic decision-making through actionable financial insights.

The Finance Controller works closely with department heads, senior leadership, and the CFO to ensure that financial strategies support the company's operational and growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Controllership Functions – Oversee accounting operations for multiple entities, covering P2P, O2C, inventory & cost accounting, general accounting, and cash audit.

  • Ensure Reporting & Compliance – Deliver timely, accurate financial statements; enforce policies and controls aligned with IFRS and regulations.

  • Manage Audits & Tax Coordination – Lead statutory audits and collaborate with tax teams for accurate, compliant reporting.

  • Optimize Processes & Systems – Drive automation, digital transformation, and ERP (SAP) optimization to boost efficiency.

  • Oversee Closings & Consolidation – Ensure disciplined month/year-end processes with accurate reconciliations and executive dashboards.

  • Develop & Empower Teams – Build a skilled, accountable finance team; drive training, engagement, and succession planning.

  • Strengthen Governance – Establish and enhance policies, SOPs, and controls to improve compliance, reduce risk, and protect integrity.

Job Qualifications:

  • CPA or equivalent, with 10+ years in finance/accounting and multi-entity operations.

  • 5+ years in leadership roles covering controllership, audit, and compliance.

  • Expert in IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and statutory reporting.

  • Skilled in audits, month/year-end closings, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Strong in process automation, stakeholder management, and collaboration.

  • Strategic, detail-focused, and committed to operational excellence.
