Overview

DBS is looking for a talented business analyst to join our Business Transformation team as we shift to a process ownership model, focused on driving process improvements and automation globally. Reporting to the DBS Performance Management & Data Analytics Manager, the Performance Management Specialist is responsible for providing reporting solutions, analytics, and business insight to assist senior executives and upper management teams to better plan, predict, and understand business trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and run scheduled metrics reports for the business
  • Provide analysis and insight into existing performance management structures such as scorecards, monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Facilitate monthly business reviews with the Management Team and other stakeholders
  • Define requirements, build and/or acquire information to develop reporting and data analytics, partnering with technology and infrastructure partners
  • Design and develop reports in Power BI, MS Excel and other reporting tools
  • Support ad-hoc analysis on themes that arise at senior management's request and/or through proactive research of potential issues
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and/or Automation initiatives to design new or re-engineer existing financial or business processes which drive business transformation
  • Coordinate and engage with key stakeholder groups across the SSC, Global and Local/BU functional teams
  • Support change management and communication efforts for critical transformation projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years professional experience in finance, BPO (SSC), business analytics, financial planning and reporting, performance management reporting, or related fields
  • Experience with Finance & Accounting is an advantage
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to support decision making
  • Data savvy, comfortable navigating and organizing unstructured data
  • Ability to understand and present technical matters in a way that is meaningful to the audience
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, high work ethic
  • Attention to detail, skilled in graphical representation of complex data
  • Self-starter capable of working under limited supervision and managing multiple projects and milestones
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build relationships across multiple businesses, functions, and geographies at all levels
  • Experience using reporting/BI tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI or similar
