Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant with expertise in digital marketing and content creation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies while producing engaging content that strengthens TCMM's brand presence, drives audience engagement, and generates quality leads.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Partnership Officer, and TCMM Directors to align marketing initiatives with business goals, while also showcasing strong creativity and technical skills across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy & Business Development: Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Partnership Officer, and Directors on marketing and business development plans; conduct research and present data to support marketing strategies; ensure consistent brand messaging and optimize content for SEO and SEM; analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) and report KPIs; support lead generation and customer acquisition through targeted campaigns; stay updated with industry trends, digital marketing tools, and emerging platforms; maintain and update CRM systems (VisualCare & Mailchimp).
  • Marketing & Content Creation (Print & Digital): Develop and implement digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, social media, email, and paid ads; plan and create content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media (WordPress/Elementor); manage and grow company social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn); produce engaging short-form and long-form videos for digital channels; design creative graphics, promotional assets, and digital collateral using Canva; create, update, and manage print marketing materials for events and client communications; build and deliver customer journeys and marketing automation via Mailchimp (EDM).
  • Education & Training: Provide internal training on marketing tools, content creation, and digital strategies.
  • General: Perform other duties as required by the Directors; contribute to TCMM's business goals through special initiatives; promote TCMM's values: Commitment, Respect, Service, Trust, and Care.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media Communications, Business, or related field (required).
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and content creation (portfolio/examples required).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
  • Proficient in WordPress/Elementor, Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, and major social platforms.
  • Skilled in creating video, graphic, and written content.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Proven track record in delivering results and meeting targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
