Lead Generation Specialist Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Sales and Marketing Head Level: Specialist Job Purpose To generate a consistent flow of qualified business leads for Bald Puppies Solutions Inc. by researching, scraping, and engaging potential clients through digital platforms. The Specialist drives new opportunities via cold calls and emails, conducts discovery calls to understand needs, and turns over qualified prospects to Functional Consultants or Developers for solution design and presentation. Key Responsibilities 1. Prospecting and Lead Sourcing Identify and compile potential clients through website scraping, social media channels, and digital business directories. Research and document company details, contact information, and decision-makers. Continuously build and refresh the database with verified leads and updated client profiles. Use digital tools, automation scripts, or CRM to manage the lead list efficiently. 2. Cold Outreach and Engagement Conduct high-volume cold calling and emailing campaigns daily. Personalize communication based on lead category (industry, business size, product fit). Schedule discovery or qualification calls with prospects showing interest. Keep detailed records of all contact attempts and responses. 3. Lead Qualification and Discovery Conduct structured discovery sessions to evaluate client requirements, readiness, and decision process. Qualify leads using pre-set scoring criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline). Identify early-fit opportunities for ERP, cybersecurity, fintech, or eCommerce solutions. Prepare concise requirement notes for every qualified lead before turnover. 4. Coordination and Handoff Turn over qualified leads to the assigned Functional Consultant or Developer. Ensure the handoff includes full client details, discovery summary, and communication history. Participate in weekly alignment calls with the sales and development team for feedback on conversion progress. 5. Reporting and Analysis Maintain a daily activity tracker for calls, emails, and qualified leads. Generate weekly performance summaries highlighting top lead sources, industries, and conversion trends. Suggest continuous improvement ideas for campaigns and targeting methods. Key Competencies Strong communication and objection-handling skills Familiarity with scraping tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM tracking Analytical and data-driven mindset for funnel performance monitoring Discipline in executing repetitive tasks with consistency Basic understanding of business software, ERP systems, or fintech platforms Performance Measurement Success will be tracked through a lead generation funnel Performance Metrics Top Funnel (Prospecting): 100 new leads daily Middle Funnel (Engagement): Contact through calls/emails Bottom Funnel (Qualification): Leads progressing to discovery stage and handover Weekly reviews will evaluate activity volume, response rates, and conversion efficiency.
