Job Description As a US Loan Processor , you will handle the end-to-end loan process—from verifying borrower documentation to ensuring compliance and timely loan closings. Superior customer service skills with the ability to deliver timely and professional updates. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and available loan products. Familiarity with underwriting requirements (agency, FHA, and VA preferred). Experience with Microsoft Office and loan processing systems (Encompass preferred). Your Daily Tasks Obtain and analyze information necessary to process mortgage applications, including credit reports, income documentation, assets, title work, appraisals, and any other pertinent information. Manage daily loan pipelines to meet rate lock expirations, commitment dates, and department turnaround times. Communicate loan status updates to borrowers, loan officers, and other key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and all regulatory standards. Accurately prepare files for closing, verifying dates, escrow accounts, and coordinating with settlement agents. Work closely with underwriting, documentation, funding, and post-closing teams to ensure loan accuracy and purchase readiness. Maintain and update loan status within the LOS, processing denied or cancelled loans promptly to ensure accurate reporting.
