Job Description As a Final Documents Specialist , you’ll handle and process mortgage documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance across investor and title company transactions. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high documentation standards that support seamless loan servicing and delivery. Perform data entry in LOS system, marking documents as received, and record shipping dates to the Investor of record. Pull reports from LOS system to identify aged trailing documents currently outstanding with investors. Follow up with Settlement Companies and Attorneys' offices to obtain missing documents for Investor delivery. Obtain Certified True Copies of Mortgage/Deed of Trust or final Title Policy copies when documents are lost or aged. Work with Investors, Internal departments, and Settlement/Attorney offices to correct defects in Mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy, including re-recording if needed.
