Job Description As a Finance Executive , you'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, liquidity, and operational excellence. Accountability 1: Efficient credit control to enable liquidity and support the customer Measures for performance: Maintain debtor days below 45 days Turnaround of credit account applications within 48 hours Daily monitoring of customer credit limits and financials to reduce risk Accountability 2: Accurate entry of supplier invoices and efficient management of supplier disputes Measures for performance: Enter supplier expense invoices within 3 days of receipt Enter supplier inventory invoices within 3 days of item receipt Follow up missing invoices and receipts internally and with suppliers to support month-end close Accountability 3: Prompt completion of monthly reconciliation tasks Measures for performance: Facilitate month-end accounts closure by the 7th working day of the following month Manage current assets and liabilities to ensure accuracy and timeliness Accountability 4: Short-term forecasting and budget management Measures for performance: Prepare short-term (90-day) cash projections and manage trading cash Provide budget support to budget holders Core Responsibilities Notify the appropriate Manager or Team Leader of any issues and initiate corrective/preventive actions Enter previous day's bank transactions into NetSuite daily Check the bank daily for pro forma payments and complete monthly bank reconciliations Contact customers proactively regarding outstanding invoices via phone and email, logging call notes in NetSuite Follow the credit control process for managing debt chasing and processing account applications Use Creditsafe and credit insurance to monitor and manage customer credit limits, coordinating with sales teams and clients Enter purchase invoices and receipts, ensuring missing copies are followed up for month closure compliance Verify supplier bank detail changes with a known contact Raise disputes with suppliers and coordinate settlements with internal stakeholders Ensure credit and pro forma invoices are paid promptly Manage debtor and creditor lists to ensure timely collections and payments Reconcile prepayment, supplier deposit, and tooling deposit accounts monthly Perform monthly reconciliations of import VAT, goods received not invoiced, and accrual accounts Post adjustments for non-inventory purchases and sales Prepare quarterly stock value reviews in line with company processes Provide daily updates on company sales and orders Prepare 90-day cash projections and assist budget holders with analysis Build and analyze reports in Excel or NetSuite About the Client Precision, Partnership, and Progress in Every Transaction Our client is a fast-growing global trading and distribution company specializing in high-quality products and services across industries.
