About the role VALOFE Co., Ltd.' is seeking a driven and experienced Localization Manager to oversee the translation and adaptation of our games and content for international markets. In this full-time role based in Manila City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products effectively engage global audiences through seamless localization efforts. What you’ll be doing Manage and coordinate the localization process for VALOFE's game titles and content, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards Liaise with internal teams (such as game design, development, and marketing) to understand localization requirements and priorities Recruit, manage and mentor a team of in-house and external language specialists, translators, and proofreaders Review and QA translated content to maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy Develop and implement localization best practices, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability Provide strategic input on localization approaches and identify opportunities to enhance the player experience Monitor localization performance metrics and report on progress to stakeholders What we’re looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in a localization management role, preferably within the video game industry Strong proficiency in English and at least one other language (ideally an Asian language such as Mandarin, Japanese or Korean) Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple, concurrent localization projects In-depth understanding of translation, localization, and linguistic quality assurance best practices Familiarity with content management systems, translation management tools, and localization software Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills A passion for games and understanding of global player preferences and cultural nuances What we offer At VALOFE, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where our employees can thrive.
