We are seeking a Product Localization Specialist to ensure all platform features are adapted to local language, culture, and user interaction habits.

Job Summary

The Product Localization Specialist is responsible for adapting product content and features to ensure they align with local language, cultural nuances, and user behaviors. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, UX/UI designers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, intuitive, and engaging localized experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Content Localization

  2. Write and adapt localized product copy, ensuring clear communication and alignment with brand tone.

  3. Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and resonate with local users.

  4. Understanding PRD and Product Logic

  5. Review and understand product manager PRDs (Product Requirement Documents).

  6. Adapt functional descriptions, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows to meet local context

  7. User Interaction and Competitive Analysis

  8. Analyze user interaction behaviors and identify opportunities for improvement in localized experiences.

  9. Research competitor platforms to understand local best practices and benchmarks.

  10. Quality Assurance for Localized Features

  11. Review all product features before launch to confirm alignment with local language, design standards, and user expectations.

  12. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve localization-related issues.

Requirements

  1. Education

  2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  3. Experience

  4. 1-3 years of experience in product localization, content writing, or UX/UI adaptation.

  5. Previous experience in gaming, tech, or consumer-facing platforms preferred.

  6. Skills

  7. Strong command of English (required); proficiency in local languages is a plus.

  8. Ability to interpret and adapt PRDs into effective localized content.
  9. Understanding of user experience principles and cross-cultural communication.

  10. Familiarity with competitive market research and benchmarking practices.
