Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team. Conduct routine inspections of the resort’s facilities, systems, and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, pools, landscaping, and other resort facilities. Respond promptly to repair requests or emergencies to minimize downtime and inconvenience to guests. Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and service reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Train, mentor, and monitor the performance of maintenance staff. Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, etc.) to address maintenance issues and prioritize tasks. Provide input on budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations. Handle vendor relationships for contracted services or major repairs. Qualifications Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field is a plus. Experience Level: 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; excellent problem-solving skills; team leadership abilities; and proficiency in maintenance management software. Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee maintenance operations, supervise staff, conduct routine inspections, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
