About the role

Join the team at the BATANGAS COUNTRY CLUB Hotel and Resort as a full-time Maintenance Supervisor. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff. The position is based in Batangas City, Batangas.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the daily maintenance activities of the hotel, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
  • Oversee a team of maintenance technicians and tradespeople, ensuring they complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Monitor and report on the condition of hotel assets, identifying the need for repairs or replacements
  • Liaise with hotel management to ensure maintenance activities align with the overall operational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and costs

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with hotel management and staff
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, maintenance, or a related field would be an advantage
