If you are passionate about aviation, join our Columbia Family This representative serves as the operational link between Columbia Helicopters and the Department of Defense. The role ensures successful coordination of aircraft and logistical support. It represents the organization as a prime contact for scheduled and emergency movements and acts as liaison with senior internal and DoD personnel requiring coordination between organizations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 45% – Coordinate with customer representatives. Receive movement assignments and plan/publish flight schedules within performance and limitations of aircraft and flight crew to ensure efficient movement of personnel and cargo. 30% – Actively flight‑follow assigned aircraft and communicate with flight crew, DoD, and support personnel regarding cancellations, reroutes, or diversions. Adjust flight plans in a time‑sensitive environment to meet mission requirements and coordinate necessary support/permissions. Assist the Director of Aerial Operations, Director of Flight Operations, Country Manager, and Site Manager as needed. Other Functions: 25% Prepare and submit reports regarding aircraft status and forecast, weather, maintenance, personnel tracking, and billeting. Collect and maintain operational and administrative data for analysis and reporting per customer and contract requirements. Gather information on current weather, flight route, hazards, and intelligence reports related to flight safety. Ensure accuracy of mission reports for correct flight hours and proper billing. Receive and process passenger and cargo requests for scheduled movement. Coordinate crew transportation for arrival/departure. Coordinate and process security clearance verification for badge credentials. Account for all company personnel according to DoD requirements. Account for and issue controlled items/equipment according to DoD and ITAR requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred in a business‑related field; or 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role in an aviation position (FAA‑certified pilot or dispatcher experience preferred). Supervisor or management experience preferred with ability to make difficult personnel decisions, demonstrated leadership skills, and ability to train and coach employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to audiences at all levels. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment. Ability and willingness to travel internationally for work rotations typically lasting 45–60 days. Must have above‑average proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn customized computer programs. On‑call 24/7 via company phone (while on rotation). Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values. United States Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for obtaining U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Candidates with a current active Secret clearance, or who have recently had active clearance, take priority. Candidates selected for this position will receive a conditional offer of employment upon satisfying all pre‑employment requirements, including obtaining U.S. Secret Clearance.
