The ideal candidate will ensure the site remains functional, secure, optimized, and up to date, while also supporting new development needs as the company grows. 1. Website Maintenance & Updates Perform regular updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Monitor website performance, security, and uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise. 2. Content & Page Management Update and maintain existing web pages. Create new pages as needed, ensuring consistent branding and user experience. Upload and optimize images, graphics, and other media assets. 3. Integrations & Enhancements Set up and manage payment gateways Collect and organize website data, including analytics and form submissions. Implement SEO best practices to optimize page performance and visibility. 4. Periodic Overhaul & Major Changes Plan and execute major website updates or redesigns every six (6) months. Recommend and implement new features, tools, or design improvements to keep the site modern and efficient. 5. Optimization & Security Conduct speed and performance optimization. Ensure security protocols, backups, and updates are regularly implemented. Qualifications Skills & Experience Proven experience as a WordPress Administrator, Developer, or similar role. Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP is a plus. Experience with payment gateway integrations. Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and website optimization tools. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques. Experience with responsive and cross-browser compatibility testing.
