Join to apply for the Wordpress Developer role at BruntWork We are seeking a WordPress Developer / CMS WordPress Expert who will handle both back-end and front-end development, including the creation and customization of themes and plugins. The role involves working closely with the design team to deliver websites that are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with page builders particularly Elementor, and solid knowledge of CSS. Familiarity with modern web design trends, responsive design principles, and SEO best practices is also essential. Job Highlights Hourly Rate: USD 10, the equivalent in your local currency Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 5 flexible hours per day between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time Work Arrangement: Work from home Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using WordPress. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to turn visions into reality. Ensure high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Establish and guide the website's architecture Ensure high-quality source code, testing, and debugging. Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to improve usability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements. Requirements: Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, CMS WordPress Expert level. Expert Proficiency in WordPress page builders, especially Elementor Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development. Familiarity with Google Tools such as Analytics and Search Console. Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic graphic design skills to create social media and website content. Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and Outlook. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Highly Regarded Skills and Experience: Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with tools such as Gulp or Grunt. Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
